Endure \En*dure"\, v. i. [imp. & p. p. {Endured}; p. pr. & vb.
n. {Enduring}.] [F. endurer; pref. en- (L. in) durer to
last. See {Dure}, v. i., and cf. {Indurate}.]
1. To continue in the same state without perishing; to last;
to remain.
