Crew \Crew\ (kr[udd]), n. [From older accrue accession,
reenforcement, hence, company, crew; the first syllable being
misunderstood as the indefinite article. See {Accrue},
{Crescent}.]
1. A company of people associated together; an assemblage; a
throng.
